Though They Are Poor: Possess Substantial Potentiality Of Development

Abstract: This micro-level study has made an attempt to analyze demographic & activity status along with the behavioural trend of selected landless (BPL) families in least developed rural areas. It has enhanced the necessity of improving demographic and activity status revealed in such families, in a sense for gaining it as demographic dividend. The approbation to pattern of saving and investment and its contribution in gross domestic household savings and investment calls for specially designed policy measures to bring such families into stream of on going rapid growth process for attaining the objective of inclusive growth, one has to think the inclusion of such landless (BPL) families while designing the national socio-economic policy in India
