Abstract: Environmental innovations are expressed as new processes, management approaches or products that contribute to sustainability and the protection of the natural environment. The purpose of the study is to examine interrelationships between three types of environmental innovations (management, process and product) and show the main determinants for environmental innovations for firms. Data were collected with the help of a team of experts in the field, using the CATI method (computer assisted telephone interview). The study was conducted with the participation of 41 companies operating in different industries in the Marmara region. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis was used to investigate research questions. The results support that environmental management innovations have positive influence on environmental process and environmental product innovations whereas environmental process innovations also have strong influence on environmental product innovations. Additionally, the main determinants for environmental practices seem to be in response to existing regulations while global heating is also a significant concern at the corporate level. The findings suggest that environmental innovations practices should be adopted within the entire organization since the interaction between different types of environmental innovations strengthens each other.
