Abstract: İnsanlık tarihi boyunca karşılaşılan problemleri anlamak ve çözmek için duyargaları ve yaptıkları ölçeklerle uyaranları ölçerek; elde ettikleri verileri sınıflara ayırma çeşitli işlemlerden geçirme süreçlerle değerlendirerek enformasyona (bilgiye) dönüştürerek ve üretilen bilgilere bağlı karar ve eylemleri ile yöntemler geliştirilmiştir.
