Abstract:
This study investigates the impact of renewable energy production on exports in Turkey. Particularly, the effects of policies implemented under the Renewable Energy Resources Support Mechanism (YEKDEM) on exports are examined. Regression analysis is conducted to understand the relationship between annual renewable energy production data and export data. The results of the analysis suggest that renewable energy production has a positive impact on Turkey’s exports, leading to an increase in exports over time.
