Abstract:
The high technology and qualified labor force presence of developed economies are among the most obvious issues that differ from other countries. Naturally, in the past and today, these factors remain relevant. According to the state of development between countries; Although the problem of qualified labor shows differences, it always remains on the agenda. In Turkey, there are problems with the technologies used in production and the labor force needed when using these technologies. The study material consists of face-to face surveys with employers registered with the Erzurum Chamber of Commerce and Industry operating in the province of Erzurum. As a result of the study, it was determined that one of the biggest problems experienced by the enterprises was that it was difficult to find qualified personnel who knew the job. Although there is sufficient manpower in the region, it has been concluded that it is difficult to find expert technical staff in the field. Employers have emphasized the importance of the master-apprentice relationship in making the work better and more efficient in the business environment.
