Abstract: Efficiency and effectiveness in production system is getting much more importance for company. Competitiveness force production firms to become much more effective, that’s mean to obtain same output with less input or higher output with same input and also it is essential to determine degree of change with investment and number of operators to ensure efficient use of resources. The purpose of this study is analyzing rate of utilization of resource in the manufacturing system and comparing efficiency of scenarios. The scope of the study is a medium size production firm which is located in Bursa. The method using is first to create simulation model to analyze current situation. Simulation model is created in Arena packed program then utilization rate of the resource is calculated. Then 6 different scenarıos are created. Then data envelop analyze is realized to determine efficient scenarios.
