BY THE EFFECT OF THE INDUSTRY 4.0 ON LOGISTICS 4.0

Abstract: Recently the concept of Industry 4.0 appears on every platform -especially in international academic literature -frequently. This concept is named as “fourth industrial evaluation†, that includes an integration between systems and more advanced application of automation. To carry out simultaneous production, all machinery and equipment in production are coordinated through the Internet with the help of sensors and all the required data with the cloud storage at Industry 4.0.Industry 4.0 revolution is going to change not only all production processes and functions but also logistics systems radically. By the impact of the Industry 4.0; logistics have a revolution too which is named as Logistics 4.0.Logistics 4.0 provides accessibility, fast informatio nprocessing, security, visibility, new ways of networking, automating supply chains and, most importantly deriving more value from the process. For all these reasons Logistics 4.0 will have the key role in the future.The aim of thi sarticle is to present main features of “Industry 4.0†conception -which is conceptualized at 2011-“Logistics 4.0†conception -which is affected by industry 4.0-and to discuss their potential impacts of the future.
