ARE THE CURRENT DEFICIT ACOUNT IN TURKEY SUSTAINABLE?

Abstract: The objective of this study is to examine the issueof Turkey’s current account deficit sustainability in the period of 1991-2017 quatearly data.Thethe variables taking into account the evolution such as exports, bilateral transfer and interest payments plus to imports. The long-term relationship between imports and exports has been tested ADF unit root and two-stage cointegration tests were used. These test results show that Turkey current account deficits are sustainable.
