Abstract: The purpose of doing research is to analyze and assess and to develop a variable and instrument to identify the role of knowledge management of the performance of the plants fish processing in the bitung city. Special target to be achieved in this researchnamely improving the performance of the plant fish processing in the bitung city to improving the economic growth. Next, methods used in the research and approach are observation, included to indentify in this plant fish processing in the Bitung City, using metrode survey, share the survey/ and provide open questionnaire to get accurate results then process of the data and evaluate the results to conference and international published.After the results obtained, then all this research will give a positive contribution for all stakeholders (academition, businessman, government) where this fits in with a master plan Sam Ratulangi University. This research result indicates that knowledge management had a positive impact and significantly to the performance of the plant fish processing in the Bitung City.
