Abstract:
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of job characteristics on individual job performance, especially in terms of healthcare employees. It is an important information that which job characteristics are effective on which performance type of healthcare personnel working under difficult conditions. Survey was used as a data collection method in this study. The questionnaire created in the research was conducted on 527 healthcare employees. As a result of the analysis, it was concluded that the sub-dimensions of the job characteristics positively affect all the sub-dimensions of the task identity and friendship of the individual work performance. In addition, it was concluded that autonomy negatively affects the counterproductive work behavior, feedback affects the task performance positively, and the variety positively affects the task performance and contextual performance.
