The idea of human rights in contemporary Arab thought

Abstract:
This study dealt with a vast analytic side of the intellectual and theoretical foundations, as well as the efforts of some contemporary Arab scholars and their attempts to find a balance between the inherited and the extraneous. The study aimed to shed light on the setbacks in the human rights concepts application and other concepts on the time of the establishment of Arab national state. The study emphasized the importance of the human rights in both theoretical cultural field and the applied field which are considered the basic means for social reforms and economic development.
