Abstract: The study aimed at determining the degree of influence of both the economic environment and the competitive environment on the financial performance of the Jordanian insurance companies. The study found that there is an impact of the economic environment and competitive environment on financial performance in the Jordanian insurance companies to a high degree. The study also showed that there is no statistically significant effect on the gender variable on the opinions of the study sample members on the financial performance of the Jordanian insurance companies, but there is a statistically significant effect of the job title variable on the opinions of the sample members on the financial performance of the Jordanian insurance companies. The study recommended to measure and evaluate the institutional performance and review and update the performance of the institution for the intended output.
