Abstract:
Abstract This article is devoted to lawyers' liability for violation of deontological ethics in law enforcement. Using the comparative legal method, the study examines lawyers' liability in countries of the Romano-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon legal systems. This study concludes that it is necessary to distinguish the professional (corporate) liability in legislation. In Russian law, it is proposed to adopt a general Code of ethics for lawyers, which should take precedence over other documents of a deontological nature. From the point of view of deontological ethics in law, this study is of interest to lawyers.
