Religious Practices in the Effectiveness of Social Service Workers: A Subjective Assessment

Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this study was to consider social workers’ subjective assessment of the relevance and effectiveness of engaging with their personal religious and spiritual experiences in social services provision. The total sample of respondents involved 760 social workers from Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation who assessed the extent to which incorporating their religious beliefs into the working practice might benefit its effectiveness. The distribution of the answers turned out to be statistically close to the normal distribution, which may indicate the insignificance and randomness of the impact of religious beliefs.
