Abstract:
Abstract The study explores the impact of leadership styles on organizational effectiveness, emphasising the mediating role of employee motivation and engagement. Using transformational leadership theory and PLS-SEM analysis on survey data, the findings revealed a significant mediating role of employee motivation and engagement between leadership styles and organizational effectiveness. It emphasises that transformational leadership significantly enhances motivation, engagement and organizational effectiveness. The study highlights the importance of leadership in fostering an engaging work environment that drives performance. The results suggest that public sector organizations should prioritise leadership development to boost employee commitment and productivity. By integrating leadership strategies that enhances motivation and engagement, organizations can improve their effectiveness and service delivery.
