Abstract:
Abstract This study investigates the impact of digital transformation on organizational performance in the Punjab Police, Pakistan, considering employee motivation as a potential mediator. Data from 209 employees were analyzed using structural equation modelling with SmartPLS to explore the mediating role of employee motivation. The findings indicate that digital transformation significantly enhances organizational performance, partially mediated by employee motivation. This research offers theoretical and practical insights addressing a gap in public sector literature, particularly in developing countries. The study underscores the necessity for strategic investments in digital technologies and motivation initiatives to improve public sector efficiency and effectiveness.
