The Individual – Opportunity Nexus: A Review of Scott Shane: A General Theory of Entrepreneurship
Mark Casson
Small Business Economics, 2005, vol. 24, issue 5, 423-430
Abstract:
A review of an outstanding recent book provides an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the theory of entrepreneurship, and also to identify unresolved issues. It is argued that the nature of ‘opportunity’, and the cognitive basis of opportunity recognition, should be a prominent feature of future research. Copyright Springer 2005
