Abstract: In this paper I develop a simple equilibrium model of search with belated information in which a nondegenerate wage offer distribution is endogenously determined. The main results of the model are that an increase in search costs leads to a decrease in the equilibrium unemployment rate and quit rates, if the hazard function of the productivity distribution is monotonically increasing.
