Abstract: Germany took her own specific features and development strategies of industrial technology as compared with other European countries in the 19th century. They can be an important variable in explaining the structural change of the European economy in the 19th century. Also, they are not only showing the technological strategies and risk avoidance strategies of underdeveloped nations whose capital markets are not yet developed, but also offering long-term technological investment direction to late runners in the international market.
