Metropolization – A System of Equations with Many Unknowns

Abstract: At present, we acknowledge more and more that metropolis and metropolization represent major problems of certain cognitive and practical actuality. In spite of all this, they continue to be insufficiently known, representing a system of equations with many unknown factors. The following lines bring to present and draw the attention of those interested the following problems: What is and What must metropolization be? What does the necessity and utility of metropolization in Romania consist of? Which is the theoretical and practical feasible pattern in our country? Which are the most important characteristics of the metropolization process of economic, ecologic, social and cultural life of human communities in our country?
