Abstract: In the context of the knowledge economy, the investment is a goal of all entities, because they help to increase their competitiveness, which leads to achieving high performance. The existing research in this field shows the importance of the national investment climate in order to attract the foreign investment, without mentioning the organizational investment climate. This paper proposes a microeconomic approach to the investment climate and competitiveness, and the relationship between the two concepts. Obviously, the organizational perspective approach of the investment climate and competitiveness brings up the concept of the organizational culture and the individual competitiveness. This is because the performance of an entity (natural or legal) is assured by the existence competitiveness as a result of a strong corporate culture based on innovation, creativity, effective investment (especially human resources).
