KOF Analysen, 2016, vol. 10, issue 1, 75-91

Abstract: In June 2013, negotiations started between the European Union and the United States of America to establish a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). The first part of this paper sketches the starting point of the EU-US talks. The second part deals with the present state of the negotiations as well as with the possible effects of the planned partnership on Switzerland’s foreign economic relations. The third part concludes with a few remarks on the future of Switzerland’s foreign trade policy.
