Abstract: The following article provides basic information concerning the Energy Performance Certificate talking into consideration its value in the process of real estate appraisal. In the process of value estimation an appraiser uses all necessary and available data concerning the real estate in question. As a result, the information included in the Energy Performance Certificate may have considerable influence on the process of real estate valuation.
