Abstract:
The discussion regarding the reform of the Polish building law has been kept alive for many years now. Obtaining a construction permit is both complicated and time-consuming, and the actions taken so far have proved to be ineffective. This article presents the main thesis of the draft guidelines to the new Building Law Act related to the deregulation of the building construction process and analyzes the structure of a construction permit under applicable law. The paper presents the positive experience of other countries in reforming the law related to construction showing the benefits of privatization of public tasks performed by the building administration.
