IDENTIFICATION OF OPPORTUNITIES AND ITS IMPACT ON ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS

Abstract: This paper aims to measure the impact of the identification of opportunities on entrepreneurial intentions. In order to measure their relationship, descriptive research was carried out through a validated questionnaire sent to teachers from different universities in Cuenca - Ecuador, to be shared with their students. The results were analyzed using simple regressions that revealed that alertness to opportunities is directly and positively related to students ́ entrepreneurial intentions. This study provides scientific, academic, and entrepreneurial support that allows the formulation of educational initiatives and public policies to support students with an entrepreneurial spirit to develop skills to identify opportunities in the market.
