Abstract:
A state-of-the-art on work motivation in the cooperative sector is presented, focused on work cooperatives, and based on a descriptive systematic review of academic literature between 2012 and 2022. There is little theoretical accumulation, with work performance as the focus of study and the interest in work motivation in terms of its relationship with it. The research is mostly quantitative and from Asia, with little reference to work motivation theories and cooperation, without considering the cooperative differential in the analysis of results, mostly focused on employees of user cooperatives. The few jobs that focus on cooperative members come from Latin America and present motivational factors for these workers. It is evident the need to investigate from an administration perspective, on cooperatives of works, where the particularity of the collective management is visualized more strongly.
