Abstract:
This article tries to identify the most coherent interpretations about the Colombian industrialization since 1960. One of the major issues into question the possibility and limit of a growth strategy in a less developed country. In the first part, the authors present some approaches about the industrialization in Latin America and they suggest some hypothesis for the study of the Colombian process. Inthe second part they present their thesis on this process and finally they examine briefly the Brazilian and South Korea experiences. Based on these analysis they present some important questions about the pattems of accumulation a less developed economy.
