Abstract:
This paper proposes an alternative methodology to explain the historical conditions for the constitution and exercise of power at the end of Antioquia’s colonial period Those same conditions which are going to be subsequently acknowledged as giving a region's shape to Antioquia. The minig-trade articulation is the space where this process develops. Attention is paid to the analysis of the mining activities and its corresponding economic, political and social relations.
