Karl Marx: naturaleza de las categorías económicas
Freddy Salazar Paniagua
Lecturas de Economía, 1986, issue 19, 9-32
Abstract:
This paper analyses the Introduction to the Criticism of Political Economy by Karl Marx as the answer to the question "what is the structure of political economy?". This structure establishes an ordering which responds in turn to an integration determined by those ordered elements, which depends on their own nature. The structure of political economy thus establishes the nature of economic categories which interact with one another according to their nature or content. The answer to the original question presupposes the answer to the prior question "what is the nature of economic categories?" and the answer this time depend on the way the categories are formed and the way they relate to the social reality they seek to explain. The order of economic categories, their nature and formulation, thus form the basic problems addressed by Marx in the cited work. This article reconsiders these problems in the order of dependence suggested by the considerations above.
