Jacques Adda
Lecturas de Economía, 1989, issue 28, 127-153
Abstract:
The inefficacy of orthodox policies to counteract inflation at the beginning of the 1980 decade paved the way [or the renewal of the analysis concerning the dynamics of inflation, Nevertheless, heterodox stabilization policies have failed despite their diagnosis about the nature and causes of Brazil's inflationary process, and we can observe how this country is, once again, subject to hyperinflation, This article examines the reasons of the failure of an heterodox action within a given social and institutional environment.
