Capitalismo y economía: a propósito de Fernand Braudel
José Félix Castaño Molina
Lecturas de Economía, 1989, issue 28, 9-27
Abstract:
Fernand Braudel´s Material Civilization and Capitalism offers a point of view concerning world expansion of the system that traditionally has been referred to as capitalism. But this paper's interest does not end here: Brudel represents capitalist society in a way that, in several aspects, opposes the vision established by pure economic theory, specially the one found in neoclassical theory. History would rather tend to support the heterodox point of view.
