Abstract:
Towards the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth, the coffee plantations in Antioquia showed a wide variety of technical and social relationships, which reflect the differences found in each one of these agricultural exploitations. This article analyzes the different working systems definided according to the type of exploitation. lt also examines the techniques employed in setting up the plantation. and in the growing and processing of crops.
