Abstract: This article deals with the methodology to devise economic policies for the peasant economy of a certain region. After some considerations about the Progarma de Desarrollo Rural Integrado -DRL- deals with special programs, the author examines the westerm region of Antioquia most of those are taking part of the new Plan de Desarrollo Integral Campesino -PIC-.
