La desregulación de las telecomunicaciones: la perspectiva del entrante potencial
Rodney Maddock
Lecturas de Economía, 1991, issue 34, 39-52
Abstract:
This paper considers the challenges provided in recently deregulated telecommunications industry. It emphasizes the need for entrants to be sensitive to the political and social conditions of the new market but suggests that the incumbent rational firm -the Telecom monopoly- will not be easy to beat. For regulations the essence of the argument is that they should provide transparent solutions and should facilitate competition to ensure that as many of the benefits as possible flow on to consumers
