Abstract:
In the present work the author analyses the main exchange rate measures implemented in the country between 1990 and 1994 as well as their relation with the evolution of the Real Exchange Rate (RER). To determine the RER an IS-LM model is used which shows the government actions as factors affecting domestic interest rate, leading to international capital flows, which affect the level of RER.
