Abstract: Men zou kunnen zeggen dat de Internationale betalingsbalans een opstelling is van alle ontvangsten en ultgaven, welke uit hoofde van Internationale transactjes over een bepaalde periode — meestal een kalenderjaar — hebben plaats gevorden. Over die bepaalde periode registreert de betalingsbalans systematisch de economische betrekklngen tussen het eigen land en de rest van de wereld.
