Abstract:
The following report identifies the principal existing resources of Indonesia for management improvement, analyzes present and prospective managerial needs, and outlines the elements of a program for management improvement. Defining „needs" as the gap between (1) national plans and aspirations that depend upon management skills for implementation and (2) the available supply of managerial talent, the report enumerates ways in which managerial manpower might be increased both in members and in effectiveness.
