An Institutional Approach To Economic Development
S. Sundaru
Economics and Finance in Indonesia, 1959, vol. 10, 204-212
Abstract:
The urge for economic development in a much quicker tempo, so keenly felt in the "outer regions" of Indonesia especially, emerged in the establishment of regional development banks, several of which are now awaiting permits for operation. Although a development bank has its own merits, it stands to reason that such a bank alone can not, by any means cope with the ambitious program of regional development.
