Abstract: Indonesia has only three domestic life insurance companies: P.T Perusahaan Pertanggungan Djiwa “Sedjahtera", Maskapai Asuransi Djiwa “Boemi Poetefa 1912", and P.T. Pertanggungan Djiwa “Dharma Nasional". These are the only life insurance companies domiciled in this country, and all three have their head offices in Djakarta.
