Abstract: IN ORDER to be able understand the character and the essenceof the systems of diistribution of income and remuneration in Yugoslavia, and to follow the ways, methods and aims of the development of this system, smoothing should be said about the whole social and economic mechanism and its development, as income distribution is an organic part of this mechanism and as during last fifteen years it has proceeded side by side with the development of society and the socialist economy.
