Economics and Finance in Indonesia, 1970, vol. 18, 59-72
Abstract:
The current economic situation of Indonesia should be assessed only in its relation the conditions of the previous period. Although the present government has tried its utmost to improve the economic situation the conditions created during the Soekarno regime are still influencing the current economic problems. Some of the conditions and characteristics remain unchanged. This does not mean that changes and improvements have not occured in the last three years. It is definitely a different situation and in many ways better one than that of the Soekarno era.
