Abstract:
Energy consumption in Indonesia is still very low. It is estimated at about 2.5 million BTU per capita per year. But problems related to the choise of energy source is not less difficult. Ecclusive of non-commercial fuels such as wood and charcoal, oil and natural gas account for 98"]o of domestic energy consumption, hydroelectric power accounts for 1.5% and coal about 0.5%.
