Abstract:
In his opening address to the 8th Ministerial Conference for Economic Development of SEA held in Tokyo, dn mid-October, Prime ' Minister Tanaka stressed the importance of continuous dialogue, among the countries concerned at all levels, govermental and private. Such continuous dialogue, the Prime Minister stated, would deepen the existing mutual understanding and trust among the countries concerned and would help solve development problems. This continue this dialogue, and I am grateful for having been invited to participate in it.
