A Need For An Integrated Statistical System For Manpower Planning In Southeast Asia

Harry T. Oshima

Economics and Finance in Indonesia, 1976, vol. 24, 71-84

Abstract: With a shift in development strategy, from industrialization to modernizing agriculture, from urban to rural, from accelerated growth to improved income distribution, full employment, and social development, we are beginning to feel the urgent need to restructure statistical systems which can generate data and information for dealing with the issues emerging from the new policies and planning.
