Abstract:
In the light of Kuhn's theory of scientific revolutions we can identify the period around 1929 as the period of anomaly and crisis in the field of economics. Keynes' General Theory put an end to his period and became the new paradigm which led the development of economics along the path of normal science. Although Keynes' analytical tools were meant for show run analysis, his followers elaborated and applied them to long-run analisys i.e. the rate of growth. Harrod-Domar-like growth models have been widely used in the period between the 1950's and the 1960's that since have called it the period of "capital-is-all" doctrine or the era of the Harrod-Domar Modelt to accomplish these objectives.
