Abstract:
The development of rural economy is one of the key factor for the national development because of the large areas which are considered to be rural in Indonesia, because of the great population who live in rurai areas, and because of the role that in these areas the raw materials for industrial usage and basic foodstuff commodities are produced. The objectives of rural development are to increase the rural incomes in order to reduce the economic gap between urban and rural areas, to achieve equality of income distribution in villages and to strengthen self-reliance of villages for their own developments
