Abstract:
The province of Bali has already achieved a rapid economic development, which can be shown in the increase of Gross Domestic Regional Products pa- capita, from Rp 68.000 in 1975 to Rp 200.000 in 1981. Considering the only 1.7% population growth rate in Bali, the growth in GDRP, during the period between 1975 and 1981, means exceeding by more than 10% per year. Meanwhile, in the same period, the average population growth rate was 2.32%) for the whole Indonesia, and GDP growth rate was 7.5% per year.
