Abstract: In most developed states, public opinion is crystallized in favor or against euthanasia, but this fact is not reflected in the legislation. A clear and concise legislative framework is an absolutely necessary condition for discussing euthanasia. On one hand, medical personnel must carry out their activity in accordance with the law, on the other hand, the selection of patients who can request such a procedure must be concretely defined.
