Abstract: Within the article entitled „Educational Management as School Institution management”, there have been analyzed the most important principles and functions which constitute the foundation of „educational management concept”. There have been analyzed a series of global issues and also strategies that aim to solve the multitude of problems per whole educational system. A very important role has been assigned to the assessment function, with practical applications within the educational system. Strictly following and applying these principles and functions during the educational practice helps shaping the individual`s personality.
