Abstract:
The paper provides the conceptual background and proposes a framework to observe and check the impact of the economic indicators to quality of life. The author seeks to identify the leading measures for raising living standards and improving living and working conditions, strengthening social cohesion and combating exclusion, promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding sustainability. Some economic indicators are used to express the current state of the economy, other economic indicators can determine the evolution of the economy in previous years, while others can predict the future evolution. This type of indicators - known as the main indicators of the economy - is of particular interest to analysts, as it offers the best X-ray of the probable evolution of the economic activity.
